Our specialists Dr Neil Sharma and Dr Ju-Lee Ooi are Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) accredited “Designated Aviation Ophthalmologists” (DAO).  They are both members of the Australasian College of Aerospace Medicine (ACASM).

We frequently perform aviation assessments for pilots, student pilots and air-traffic controllers, and can submit your application electronically directly to CASA. We also provide aviation assessments for all major airlines, including QANTAS, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Regional Express (REX).

 

The cost of an Aviation Assessment is $260 (standard assessment), and can usually be booked at short notice if urgent.
